Does anyone else feel that all these civil liberties mov'ts and social reform focus has become a huge distraction?? While are economy and foreign policy suffer. Its just buffling how stupid we have become imo. The presidential campaigns play into all this bullshit to get a vote.

I almost feel that voting should be except from those who don't have a GED or diploma without some knowledge of how are gov't works. Also grade school civics and history should be revised to better serve us than make our kids learn about shit that will never effective them or will be forgotten anyhow.
