Im fucken happy first time in my life I can do sets of 10 now! At my weight its always been my weak point I finally learned how to activate my lats to do the work. Im finally figurimg everything out mind body connection I lower the weights and learn exactly how to use certain muscles for different movements. Im a late bloomer but im getting it 🙂

I can do 30 no problem.
Try to do wide hand pushups 5x100 reps.
good job man doing those basics as we often neglect them.

max reps ... don't know. but i have been working out with 5-6 sets of 5-6 reps with a 45lber on the weight belt chain thing. but that was pretty easy last time so i'm going up next time...

I do them at home, have a pull up bar in the doorway goin into my kitchen. But if I do any upper body, I do different variations of pull-ups throughout my workout. Whether it's 10, 6, 12, 3, good strength builder !!!

I cant remember the last time I weighed under 250lbs I was at 280 for along time. So I pretty muvh gave up on pull ups but last 2 months id stand on a dumbbell pull my self up and just hold it as long as I can did that for like 3 times a week. So right now at the ggm I was feeling good and decided to see what I can do and to my surprise I can do pull ups now I weigh 265 so im happy with my progress.

chin ups are great for the arms and chest too, i started with a bar at home and could only do 6, then after a week i did 7 and slowly over the next three months worked up. keep at it you're doing great !

Ive never even attempted a chinup I'll give it a try for sure I usually do underhand pulldowns on the machine its not the same I know that.

wide grip with 50lbs x 8. wide grip with 70lbs x 5 but feels like shoulders will explode when i go all the way down with the 70 🙂

Neutral grip shoulder width pull ups are the best. If you think about it having your hands wide and doing it does nithing for the actual width and shape of your back. That predetermined by genetics. It also puts your shoulders in a strange place during the movement.

If you want a hell of a back workout use ropes for rope pullups. Those are a beast..

Yea your a big boy 9er that's good! I usually do sets of 10 wide grip. Then when I can't do them anymore I jump to the assisted pull up machine

really just about anything to where your palms are facing. Use like a tricep push down rope, the rings, my gym has 4 different width neutral bars that start with hands almost together to them being shoulder width. So use those funky looking bars sticking out inside the wide grip bar. It will tear your lats up!!

Ok cool I know this is basic shit but it was crazy I felt myself pulling with only my lats yesterday before I think I was using everything like shoulders arms not doing it right.

No man, I'm just learning how to do that myself. Not basic. Its a hard motion to perfect. I still battle bicep fatigue in full ROM. I have been finishing off my neutral grip stuff with a few sets of "fat man pull-ups" where the ROM is very short and only your shoulder blades move. Those kill too. Ill do those with a shoulder width grip or under also.
