Hey EG family!!! When im lifting i hit 2 groups in one day, for example - Back and Bi's and chest and tri's
and of course i have a leg day. How do you guys lift? 1 musclegroup at a time or 2? Also i try to mix it up by not doing the exact same stuff week in and week out.

depends i do both

no different routines

Chest/ calves
Back/ traps
Shoulders/ forearms
Bis/ tris/ calves
Legs

I mix up the routine each week and I alternate machines and free weights every other week. I try to keep my body guessing so I am always growing.

Thanks
TMM

Yea, I have watched a video of Arnold Schwarzenegger talking about how shocking your muscles and changing it up is really good for growth.

Before my lingering injuries and when lifting at my old gym I used to do

Chest and back (push/pull)
Bis and tris or shoulders and tris
Legs

I always switch things up, even if it is a slight change like taking an exercise use out and putting a different one in or by starting with what usually is the last exercise and doing their routine in reverse. Switching from free weights one week to machines the next. I never do the same workout two weeks in a row.

Thanks
