Injuries suck, and at some point we get them. What does everyone do for prevention?
Nothing apparently. In the last two years I've torn my right tricep, ruptured the tendon in my left tricep and screwed up my shoulder to the point where I need an MRI on it to see why it isn't getting better after 8 months. Sigh. Oh, and a bicep tendon strain that kept me from curls and back work for 3 months Double sigh.
i've been injury free in the gym for many years now... but did tear a pec riding a tube behind a boat... damn idiot i was!!! in the gym i never do forced reps ... never really any grinding hard reps... just upped the frequency of workouts. also i have modified exercises to stay injury free at my age.. never actually touch my chest when benching... never dead hang on pullups... only trap bar dead lifts.. etc...
