I waited a week before making a doc's appointment but this morning, my right wrist was so painful that I couldn't wait any longer. Doc says that it's a tendonitis. I have to ice my wrist, apply a topical gel, take anti-inflammatories and wear a bandage. Of course I didn't tell her that I'm lifting .. I'll hit the gym tomorrow and see how it goes.
I won't post much in the next couple of weeks bc/ typing really hurts.

I was just gonna say to try and stay off the computer or at least make sure you are not straining your wrist when typing, good luck and ice it frequently and take some advil or whatever... you shouldn't lift but if you're gonna then make sure they're supported with some wraps...

it sure is, mine took so long cause every time it would get better, I would go heavy again and hurt it, now I've been lifting lightweights for a while and feels good concentrating on the movement, dont care what people think about me lifting light weights...
don't get down, it will heal!!

Thats how I have been lifting bro and the results could not be better. Taking it very slow on some nice stricked reps and really focusing on the squeeze at the end. Iv'e been back for almost 4 weeks after 8 month off and Im looking better than before.

I think that most people focus too much on the weight and not how they do a movement. A good form will give better results. I find it really hard to stick to lighter weights but I think that I don't have a choice now that I'm injured.

Ya last week I found myself getting back into my old ways going for the heavy weights. Starting this monday I will be doing a program that will have me out of the gym for at least 3months. It will be a good thing. Then I can rotate between the gym and the program.

Out of the gym for 3 months? Is it your back, Gator? I hope you'll feel better soon.

No Im starting that P90X monday. From what I have gathered from the ppl who have done it before it seems to be a full time program no time or engery for weight room afterwards. My back is filling great knock on wood.
