Anybody have any suggestions about treating a lactose tolerance issue. I have noticed that my swollen gut happens within a short time after consuming something with Lactose in it. Milk, cheese, protein, etc. I thought that it just is my supplements, but I have really been watching and that is the culprit. Can I take an over the counter lactose inhibitor to eluviate the distention? If so, which one?:(

Try lactase. Also, there are a lot of good proteins out there that are lactose free.

Add digestive enzymes to your supplements, they will help digest anything that contains lactose.

could just build a tolerance for them...lactose is natural form of sugar from milk...when I drink a lot of it I break out some on my face and upper back

I think that I'm lactose intolerant. I usually mix my 100% Whey Isolate with water and today for the first time in years, I had Muscle Milk for breakfast and a ready to drink Protein drink PWO and now my bowel is very noisy ....
