I used to go by the name viphelper but the guy who reformatted my laptop got rid of yahoo and everything else (my passwords and stuff). I couldn't remember my password and had to open a new account :confused:

Get Trillian. It is much greater on so many levels. As well, it combines accounts from all chat clients into its one, and color coordinates the user names.

As well, it encrypts chat messages between two people.

Trillian can combine MSM, ICQ, YAHOO, AIM, and so on into itself.

I used to have ICQ and AIM but stopped using both when England vanished from the boards :( Now I can't even remember my login and pass to both.

I'm still using msn and I opened a new yahoo account last week.

I was a Trillian user until I noticed that all of the contacts that I ever chatted with were all on yahoo. That is when I dropped Trillian and started using Yahoo.

I don't know about now, but back when I used Trillian it was just basic chat. There was no picture or file sharing, no games, no webcam. Yahoo and MSN have a lot more features.

And since Yahoo and MSN work with each other, I can still talk to the few MSN contacts that I have on Yahoo.

But I use msn and yahoo all the time. Have 2 yahoo accounts open all the time.

Just click on add a contact and it gives you a drop down where you can specify if they are on Yahoo or MSN (Windows Live). I'm not sure if there is a way to do a mass import. I've never had more than one at a time to add.
