Which ones are the best. IPOD is so limited in capabilities and way overrated-overpriced. I was really thinking about a zune, but then I read that you can only load music that has zune protected copyrights from a zune store.
I have a ton of mp3s on the pc already...I don't want to buy more.
I had a cheap one that worked great...only problem was you had to scroll through every song in order to find what you wanted. It plugged right into the computer though, so it was easy to change music.
What I really want to be able to do is create multiple playlists. I'd like to have a song list taylored to each different workout I do, and then I could just select that list. Is that possible?
I don't need any video or picture capability...maybe I will just get one that takes memory cards and I can just switch cards for my workouts?

Any thoughts?

I have a touch screen IPod and I love it :D Check out the For Sale on the net, you may be able to pick one up cheaply. My sister has a IPOD Classic and she loves it lol the boys got PSPs for Christmas and we got IPODs lol whoohooo!!!

I can give you some great mp3 sites that you can download from if you like? What about using your mobile/cell phone??

I want something just for the gym. I'm thinking maybe one of those little sansa clips. It's small and won't be in the way. Guess I can just reload it with what I want every time I work out.
Those touch screen ipods are too big and bulky. Same with the phone.
As far as mp3 download sites, I am hooked up;)

Browsing
One thing I really miss in Sansa players (and many will agree with me) is the ability to browse music in File/Folder fashion. The Clip, like like it’s Sansa brothers, uses ID3 tag browsing, but many prefer to keep their music organized themselves. An addition of file folder browsing would be nice to have in the next firmware update.

The 1 gigs you can get quite a few and change them around :eek: apparently the sound is really good on it, which is really important.

I have a Philips mp3 player but I haven't figured out how to download music from my computer yet. A colleague of mine put some mp3 on my cellphone a while ago. I think I'm gonna buy an IPhone in the U.S. if I can find one that's unlocked.

LOL...you ever look at the sansa clip? The more I read about it, the more I like it, and it's very reasonable.

You can get a 1 gig for like 20 bucks. Was thinking I'd get a few in different colors and load em with different kinds of music.

I'm very had on mp3 players at the gym, I break them constantly.
