Did chest today...every Tuesday. It is sore as heck, so I think I did a good job. Still, I'd like to see what others here do on chest day. I am looking for some new things to incorporate.

Everything I do pretty much have been posted here by Grim. But yes mix it up bro. Confuse your muscles by doing different exercises for each bodypart.

I do dips, flat or incline, alternated between dumbell and bar. and always a triple drop set to failure.

Yes, supersetting and dropsetting are great in fatiguing the muscles! i do dips mainly for triceps. When I used to do them for chest of course I leaned over more, tilted to target the pectoral muscles.

I had a new routine all planned out. Was gonna do heavy flats, then hit the declines. Some a-hole was on the decline bench w/ 135. He did about 4, then got up, hung over the bar and bs'd with his buddy for 10 minutes. He finally put a 2.5 on each side and did about 4 more. I was goin fukkin crazy waitin on this tool. He got up...kicked his towel, took a drink from his water bottle, leaned on the bar and started bsing again-(and me on tren. :finger) I was ready to murder this douchebag. I finally said f it and hit the incline. He took his 2.5s off, put a 5 on each side, did about 4 more, took his weights off and disappeared. Hey, at least he put his weights back. He sure blew my rhythm.
Anyhow, my plan was flats, declines, inclines, cable crossovers, then flyes to failure. I save dips for tricep day. Always end my tricep workouts with four sets of dips to failure.
Not much point doing a lot of dumbell work at PF...they only go to 75:rolleyes:

Pretty basic for me:

Incline Bench 5 X 12,10,8,6,4
Flat Dumbbell Press 4 X 10,8,6,6
Dips 4 X 12 with added weight
Cable Crossovers 4 X 20, 15,12,10

I know Cable Crossovers are not usually used during off season, but I have had great success with them as a finishing move. Great pump. I add weight each set and if I fail, I will drop weight and do a pump set.

I notice most of you guys don't do decline much?

Is there a reason for that?

Someone was telling me your pecks can look real whacked if you do it too much..

it's all genetics...there are more muscle fibers in lower part of chest than upper so it's much tougher to build upper chest than it is lower...but never heard of any muscle group being whacked for doing too much of any one exercise

Decline hurts my shoulders too much and to be honest I don't even fill that exercise doing anything to my chest any ways so I don't do them. I do like to take the cables and get down on my knees and do the cable cross overs where im going up on my reps I fill that really works out my lower inner chest area.

I have not before I hurt my back I would do decline dumbel flys. Now putting myself in that postion puts to much strain on my lower back.

doing dips tilted forward hits the lower chest...
