I have not done them in months, partially because of my back. All I've been doing is hammers, preacher db's, other db work, etc.

Yesterday I decided F it and did standing curls. I did lose some strength but still was able to get 155x4 on my 5th set.

Wow I can feel it today! Just goes to show switching it up can really help!

Yes always switch up. "SHOCK THE MUSCLES" But my question is why does ez curls hurt your back? Just standing in particular while doing the exercise?

2 degenerated disks 'the lowest 2' a herniated disk, and 3 spots of my spine have narrowed.

Hey Grim I started a more advanced PT threw the hospital and Im getting amazing results my chronic back pain is almost gone completely I really recommend looking into it.

Bahh, I hate PT. Used to go to it for my knee and thought it was a waste of time.

Can you do ez preacher curls? Have you tried setting one foot forward when doing standing curls? Or lying face down on incline bench and doing different types of curls?
Also, have you tried lying back on incline bench facing cable doing ez bar cable curls? Just a few suggestions

My normal gym does not have a preacher curl! :eek:

I've been trying to switch it up with what they have, but it's pretty limited.

Sorry bout yer back. Pt may not be a bad idea. Do u use a belt?

I guess he got jealous that he wants to beat the sh*t out of that PT :nuts:
