Be honest ... who here likes doing cardio? I know that cardio is good for the heart and will help me cutting but my coach says that with the second phase of my routine, I don't need cardio while another veteran at my other board says that cardio is inevitable for a female.
I walk a lot for work (1 to 2 hours a day) but I really hate the treadmill (it kills my Achilles) and the stationary bike (so boring ...).

I don't mind cardio...the hard part is squeezing everything I need to do into the day.
Oh, and cardio is way more fun with a partner:spank

I only do cardio in contest prep. I am currently doing 20-30 minutes a day to get my fat A** slimmed down, but normally when I am in the off season, I don't do much, because my workout is very fast paced.
I have found when I am doing it as a part of my routine, I will split the session up or do it on more than one machine. For instance: I will do 20minutes on a treadmill, increasing speed and incline for the first 10 minutes and then decreasing incline during the last 10 minutes. Once this in complete, I move to the stair stepper and do another 10-15 minutes on it. Leg day, I will warm my knee's and quads up with 15 minutes on the stationary bicycle.
In my opinion, you need to add multiple machines in cardio, or it will suck.
Just my .02 worth.

You're right, hopping from one machine to the other is the key to fight boredom. Besides if you do HIIT cardio, 20 minutes is all it takes to boost your metabolism for hours.

Maybe I just like it when it's boring!
I'm a treadmill girl. The elliptical makes my knees burn (in a bad way) after about 30 seconds. And bikes just don't seem to do much for the upper body. So I just stick with what I know I will like. :p
