Does anybody know how much a trainer should cost, and what they should do what it should include so on and so forth. As you might know it's going to cost $900 dollars for 3 months.
Show Prep Packages break down as follows....
+ Three month package
+ Work outs supplied for EVERY DAY of EVERY WEEK! (Supplied to your monthly)
+ Once a week workouts/butt kicking sessions/and body critiques. We will evaluate where you are and where we need to go and how fast we are getting there!
+ Diets supplied for EVERY DAY of EVERY WEEK! Given to you bi-weekly. Plus a special one for show week and show day!
+Posing clinics to teach you how to walk and stand. Help you pick out and locate a suit. Help you with hair/makeup/ and show choices. Teach you what tanning products to use and how to use them. EVERYTHING!!
+I will be there on show day to help you until the minute you strut onto the stage:)
+Plus, I am on call all the time. I know how it is to do this. It has it's hard moments when you need an ear to bend or when you are just freaking out. I get it! I am there for you!

Diet: 100 per month
Workouts: 100 per month
One on Ones: 25 per session/ 100 per month

This is what I have so far to go bye and she isn't asking for all the money at once but she does want some to start with she wants half but I was thinking just one month to start.

I think the being on call for you 24/7 if you need someone to talk too is terrific esp near to the show day, I dont see any problems with the price or what you are getting. Shes been there and done the shows and from her write up she knows exactly what shes doing.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Actually if your getting trained by a pro, its not a bad price..
It also depends on what certs she has, if she's a trained dietition etc, what her record is and all that..
the bottem line however is... YOU MIGHT get the same results from a cheaper personal trainer.. as with all purchases, you might wana shop arround before commiting.

Maybe I missed it when I was reading it- is this person a pro? If so have they won anything and what do they look like when they are in shape?

From what I know I believe she is not a pro, but trying to go for pro.
Wabbs knows for sure. Thanks for stopping ;)

She's not a pro AJ...she plans on getting her pro card this year. She is a certified trainer and she has done a lot of shows.
This will be Bunny's first ever show, and I know what she learns will be invaluable.
I personally would just like to know that she will get her money's worth.

From the trainers i used in the past and the ones i know personally charge about 150 a week. As for getting her monies worth if the trainer is good then its really up to the person being trained to give it 110% and willing to go thu shit to reach his/her goals.

She's not really paying for training so much Buck...Bunny only gets 4 personal sessions a month;)
It's more for the other stuff...diet, show prep, etc.

I gotta go with Buck on this one...I am a trainer...but no where near the level to train a Body Builder...but my experince shows that you can help and push and teach...but the client HAS to be committed 1000% to there goals...otherwise...there is really no point in showing up...but the amount of money seems very fair...if she is as good as she sounds

ST...I assure you Bunny is very committed! The girl gets up at 5 every morning, gets the kid ready for daycare, we take him and drop him off to be at the gym by 6:30. She goes directly from the gym to work, then has to take a bus back to the gym to do her cardio, then walk to the daycare to pick up her son and take another bus home. On Wednesday nights, she walks with her son from here to church...she is an awesome awesome chick!
By the way, she curled a 50 lb barbell this morning for 10 with very good form:D. She is so tiny you wouldn't believe how friggin awesome it looks!

Well my experience has been this- there are alot of self proclaimed 'gurus' out there and sometimes their methods yield great results for a few people...but not everyone.
A good example of this is the trendy Palumbo diet- a local guy did it year before last and he looked like shit- then a local trainer got him dieted and he cracked top 5 for Nationals last Nov in the SHW class.
Point being that a good trainer always knows how to work with the client and thier genetics and body chemistry- not forcing some diet on them that will not work and sometimes will be an absolute disaster for some and be an absolute god send for others.
I used 2 people to train me- one guy is a friggin genius but he was a bit too smart and not enough about individual needs- this is what should happen when you introduce such and such- but it never worked with me- his other clients are 2 top national level guys and a pro.
My last guy I used is the best I have had yet- he simply looked at me asked me what I had been doing had me write it all out then- he simply tweaked it until I was hard as a rock- didnt even notice to tell you the truth- so just make sure your trainer has a success rate with all their clients not just a select few before you invest all the money.

The cost of PT has a lot to do with the location than anything else. Yes, the service it offers adds on as well but the prices of PT would be dramatically different if it was let's say in San Diego compared to Tallahassee. People who has money gonna find PT more attractive when pricey. There's different scenarios to this...
