Heartburn

The hardest part of bodybuilding is the diet. I have always had a weak stomach and eating every 3 hours makes the condition even worse. Bad heartburn and nausea. How am I supposed to get the protein that I need if I can't eat? :confused:

I get heart burn as well, have had to take otc heart burn and even RX's for it

Protein shakes are better than nothing. Maybe try eating some tums I heard they work pretty good. Sorry you have heartburn I experienced it once or twice and damn does it suck.

Thank you, guys. It's really hard to eat a lot when you have that kinda problem. Not to mention that I'm a former anorexic who still has a big issue with food.
Not sure Whey doesn't cause heartburn too BTW. I have protein burps all the time (Syntha-6 is heavy on the stomach).

Look for a predigested protein or a protein with digestive enzymes. That should help. The reason we get "protein farts" as they call them;) are due to the body's inability to breakdown and digest properly all that extra protein.

Syntha 6 is heavy on the stomach. Which brand should I look for, Wabbitt?
Supplements stores here suck big time and all we have is Twin Lab, BSN, Sci Tech, Performance Nutrition, Optimum Nutrition :mad:

Most of those have a higher end protein. I have used Optimum Nutrition and I always liked it. They claim it has aminogen..which is an enzyme that is supposed to aid in digestion. You will really have to experiment, and find one you like.
