But sure can't bitch about the results. Have gone from 292 to about 283 this morning.

I'm slowly building up my daily time, in short bursts. I don't want to get so sore that I stop doing it, plus it's been so long since I did regular cardio.

35 minutes yesterday though. Woke up today and jumped on first thing for a whopping 5 minutes before having to take my son to school.

Hopefully soon I'll be back up to 30+ minutes a time at a brisk pace, I don't do the slow crap, 2-3x daily. If I get to that point the fat is going to melt off nicely.

Yeah, I planned on doing my cardio first thing in the am, but now Wendy wants me to lift with her in the mornings-which I hate-but I gotta keep HER happy:rolleyes:

We did cardio Monday morning, and I haven't done any since. I thought you were trying to bulk...

Good work Grim! 278.1 for me lol! I'm getting shredded and cannot wait. I need a treadmill at home though, that is my biggest downfall, its a little too cold to take my dog for a run at 5:30am lol...and a little dark.

I can definitely see the results paying off, when doing shoulders today I could see more vascularity and more separation.

276 and some change this morning, very happy thus far.

I am definitely looking more cut down, still a long ways to go to be 'cut' The only problem is my jeans are not feeling any better, even though I can see the difference!

Legs are sore from leg day still, wish I skipped leg day in all honesty!

Still did morning cardio but now my legs are cramping!

Wabbitt
01-16-2009, 09:59 PM
Yeah bro...I never do cardio on leg day;) Don't skip leg day though...it's way more important.

Wabbitt
01-17-2009, 07:12 AM
Well, nothing personal bro but judging from the pics you posted, you are looking a little "top heavy". Hard to tell since you have jeans on;), but I am betting you've skipped more than one "leg day". Start pounding those legs and you may find you don't need to do nearly as much cardio.

I do legs most every week, I dont' want super huge legs tbh. My legs the way it is barely fit into my pants. Any bigger and I'd need to wear much larger pants than my waist.

Not losing any more weight, staying at about 265-266. I do think however from looks that my body fat / water is continuing to decline.

Well now is the time to start carb loading going on a total card depleated diet will only get you so far. I am leaving I will explain more when I get back.

Im back damn that monster truck show was kick ass. Your body has become use to the diet now its time to trick it with carbs. I was doing this with awesome results Mon,tues, wed, fri, sat very low carbs thur and sat high carbs. Im not a big man and I work very hard at my job so to lose weight takes alot I went from 195 15 or so % to 179-180 9% in 16 weeks it was pretty slow and healthy. My diet on low carb days was
meal 1 egg ham cheese on whole wheat English muffin protein shake and 1 cup of friut in my trade I just had to have some carbs in the morning kinda fuel the fire.
meal 2 6 hard boiled eggs
meal 3 tuna steak and cranberries
meal 4 MRP shake or 5 scrambled eggs
meal 5 chicken and a green veggie
High carb days thurs and Sun
meal 1 same as always on sunday it would be steak omelette and 4 pieces of white bread
meal 2 tuna wrap with lots of veggies
meal 3 turkey burgers and fried potatoes
meal 4 5 scrambled eggs and oatmeal
meal 5 steak and fried sweet potato wedges
Also on sundays I would have a free meal pizza or McDonald's chicken sandwich whatever just keep it somewhat healthy after my high carb days is when I would see everything take off weight wise.
I would do 45min of cardio 6 days EW and high rep training low weight. If you are really cutting your carbs and continue to lift like your bulking you might end up hurting yourself + theres no point to try and gain muscle while cutting you can't off a low carb diet and I think its real important to throw some sort of androgen's in while cutting just to help maintain muscle. Oh ya drink tons of water at least a gallon

tilltheend
01-18-2009, 10:06 PM
yep drink a lot of water, if you could do higher impact cardio ( run for example) that would help your body fat decline alot.I know you said your knee is hurt. Are you taking ALA?Maybe try some CISSUS, that is proven to lower cortisol levels.

GRIM
01-18-2009, 10:11 PM
I can not run, my knee is shot. I go balls to the wall on the bike.

I already take cissus.

The elliptical is great for burning cals. Also jump rope and jumping jacks or hitting a heavy bag. Try and mix up the rhythm also so your heart rate does not stay the same for a while.

I wish I had a heavy bag available to use ;)

Down to 262!

my weight is slightly fluctuating, between 259-264 or so. I am looking much leaner in some ways. Still eating reduced calorie and doing cardio, I hate hitting these plateaus while trying to cut weight.

Did you try some carb cycling? Maybe carb depletion...that should kickstart the metabolism again!

I agree give it a try bro. And on your high carb days eat like your bulking pasta rice potatoes. I don't know why but I ended up lighter the following day after I carb loaded. Hey I sould write a essay on carb loading.

I do cheat days and the like, I however have dropped 30 or so pounds already and do feel I am still getting solider and solider.

Thats great bro. Thats the best way IMO I see guys go from bulker to bulker and they just don't look right to me. There fat guys with muscle. Theres so much more to bodybuilding then eating big and lifting big hell thats the easy part 90% of Americans eat big just get them in the gym and there you go. The hard part that takes dedication is cardio and eating strict thats when you really see your hard work pay off good luck to you bro.
