Remember the proxy can be accessed by

401 Authorization Required (http://enhancegenetics.dedicatedproxyserver.com)
or for SSL 'SECURE'
https://enhancegenetics.dedicatedproxyserver.com

The current SECURE server is self signed, you might get a warning. This is normal for self signed, it is just as secure as a standard secure service.

can't seem to make it work for cyber rights. Home page comes up, but then I get a weird redirecting message and nothing happens

Proxies are not a science, some items will not work with web based.

I can see about 'not sure if I remember how' :o but about adding another form of proxy to it.

Well, it didn't work on that one either-exact same thing. Keeps saying it is looking for an updated version. I think my firewall is messing it up somehow. I've always had trouble getting cyber mail through proxies. :mad:

A proxy helps keep your info private.
For a real generic definition imagine your computer A is talking to the server here which is B. They can easily be traced, your IP and other info.

With a proxy computer A 'you' will now instead of talking directly with the server B, instead it will first go through computer C which will interpret back and forth, relaying the info. Computer B will believe it's talking to computer C as will your A.

This is not full proof and someone could look into the records of computer C to piece it together, it however makes it much more difficult.

Proxies also have other useful purpose above and beyond that ;)
