he said he really misses working out but they are working him like a dog. boot camp is worse than prison and even though he eats alot he's pretty dehydrated since they carry 30 lb packs around. he does get to hurt people with pugle sticks (whatever those are) which he likes and also takes martial arts. next week they start rifle training.

letters really help with morale so if anyone wants his address just ask grim or myself. i'm sure he'd be geeked with all the new people on here.

Thanks for the update!

I myself got a letter from him as well. I have been intending to send him one, now I'm glad I didn't as I got some stuff to respond to him on. I hope to get something ready to send to him tonight.

We used to get care packages like that when I was in boot camp. Only stipulation was there had to be enough for everybody. How long does he have left?

He'll be there until the end of January. I sent him some power bars, he said those were okay so maybe cookies are too:)

Being in for the holidays kinda sucks! I was in over Easter, and I got stuck doing kp duty. I wish somebody woulda sent me some cookies;)

I got another letter from Shasta today, just skimmed it but he sounds to be doing good. Will read it a bit more carefully later.
