I use unrefined sugars.
I do about a ratio of 2:1 C:P
protein to carbs going no higher than 100g carbs

I used to do the oatmeal thang, that always worked out well. Maybe I should grind some up again.

I can't do a bunch of carbs PWO...I seem to be very sensitive to any form of sugars...and it goes straight to my ass...LOL...seriously..it goes to my gut...;)

Oatmeal is a slow digesting carb you need something that works fast for PWO it also makes it were the whey takes longer to get into your system

I've never been one to use too much carbs as I maintain fat so easily, even PWO :o

Any good carb that can easily be found at the local grocery store. One main reason I rarely do carbs is I often have run out in the past and can only find them online :o

In order to stay somewhat 'cut' I gotta literally starve myself. I gain weight too fng easy.

It's great for gaining muscle, but that's about it!

So when you mix the oats or starch or urefined sugar with the protein shake.. what does this exactly do? Turn your protein shake into a meal >_> ?

My post workout shake consists of almost anything I can toss in a blender. 60g dextrose, 50g protein, 10g glutamine, 3g beta alanine, 3g aakg, a banana and a couple strawberries and sometimes oatmeal but like it was said thats a complex carb and slower digesting...

bump to that....I eat oatmeal as pre workout meal along with egg whites...

If you're having that much problems with carbs you need to focus more on complex besides when consuming simple pwo...

In order to stay somewhat 'cut' I gotta literally starve myself. I gain weight too fng easy.

gotta keep nutrients in your sytem or else your body will shed off your muscles...my theory is what you do the next 3 hours should determine what you should eat...if you ever have questions about dieting you're more than welcome to pm me...

So when you mix the oats or starch or urefined sugar with the protein shake.. what does this exactly do? Turn your protein shake into a meal >_> ?

..when you eat, consuming protein first will make the carbs more complex...like if you got a plate of chicken and potatoes, eating the chicken first will make the potatoes slower digesting...
