Again going down hugely today. Ok maybe not a 'crash' but man have I lost my ass the last few months!

You only lose money if you sell when the market is low...trying to be optimistic...but you could try the old fashioned way...I bury my savings in mason jars in the back yard..just can't ever seem to recall exactly where...lol

I hear ya Grim...I guess since I work in the private sector..and make almost nothing...the stock market is a foreign concept to me...I would like to see the economy stabililze so the politicians can focus on things that are equally important..but just not as obvious:D

Yeah i dont own a single share of any stock myself but i know we are headed in the wrong direction.

I'm only putting it in for tax purpose myself. Being self employed, putting money into our IRA's and SEP account saves money come tax time.

I'd rather have more money in an account in my name than sent off to Uncle Sam!

Good deal...I am also happy about the price at the pump;)...I drive a diesel p/u..and damn it's still painful, but better 2day...maybe even better tomorrow??

Yeah I hear you, too bad everything else is sucking. I think oil went back up a tad but time will tell.

I drive an H3 so I don't get the best mileage either :o Even my Mazda 6 only gets 20 mpg on the top end, better than a diesel pu though 'and cheaper per gallon'
