2nd amendment

In theory it's fine. However, i don't believe your average guy on the street needs a semi automatic weapon. if you want to go hunting with a nice 22 calibre go for it...

Ahh but hunting is not the reason the 2nd is there ;) The 2nd is there for the primary purpose to protect guns that in fact kill people, it also does of course protect hunting guns in the same breath, but it is not it's primary intention.

I don't think anyone 'needs' a weapon, I don't have a single gun myself, I however do feel if someone wishes to, they should be allowed to have a full auto, semi auto, pump action, or whatever form of weapon they choose.

True, but unfortunately a lot of the people who own automatic weapons don't have the best intentions. When the stuff on the streets is way more powerful than what cops use i think we have a problem.

I fully believe in 2nd .

I believe it should be law that all homes should have one in it for protection. You can bet your sweet ass that if someone was to break in here whether it be while i was home or my wife was by herself they are in for a hell of a surprise. Plus my wife can shot a pistol better than me.

Also guns dont kill people. People with guns kill people. With out the human behind the gun it is useless. Its nothing but a piece of metal sitting on a table.

I have to agree, It is my right as a citizen and a human to protect myself from an intruder into my home or an intruder in my land. it is also my right to protect my self from an aggressive government party trying to take control of the nation as well (if it were ever to happen). I am a man of my fists but unfortunatly others are not, and terrorism doesnt only attack men in uniform, terrorism also isnt only alquada or from the middle east.

The highest crime rates are in the liberal parts of the country (liberals claim to always be looking out for the common folk) the lowest crime rates are where guns are the least restricted and most familys have more than just a few. I completly agree with Buck and Shasta on this topic. Grim you need to hang out with me and go shooting some time and let Daddy re-educate you about the 2nd ammendment;)
