Server down

Some yahoo sent a spam email which did not directly effect anything on this server, he however used what is considered a redirect script of mine.

So he sent the spam, linked to the redirect script which in turn send the user to the 'spam' site. This server was in no way sending spam.

Anyway I responded to the company I lease the server from immediately, all should have been fine. I figured out the server was down last night, a bunch of bitching and screaming and finally the server is back online.

Not happy one bit. Debating what to do, either give this server another shot, move to one of my other servers or get a new one.

well all depends on how much it happens, servers do go down once in a while.

Issue 'should' be resolved now, got rid of the offending program.

Also doing some tweaks and upgrades to improve performance and security ;)
