It's essential to run some form of anti virus program on your systems. Spyware, keyloggers and others are harmful as well, the basic however is to have an antivirus program.

If you do not have one get one!

This one is totally free and is not horrible. I use it on a few of my systems ;)

What do you think of ClamWin? It's free-opensource. I am kind of a fan of open source programs these days. So much bs out there these days-I feel like some of the worst offenders go after any flaws and weaknesses they can find in commercial anti virus software, just to be ****s.

Never tried it, any anti virus is better than nothing IMHO

I keep all my p2p stuff on a seperate hard drive for security purposes. Scanned it for the first time today and found a few viruses.

Trojan.Downloader-38874 FOUND

What the heck does this one do?

Thanks...I actually read that already. It didn't help much so I was hoping one of you pc gurus could explain it. Oh well...it's gone now!

I have avast.be on my computer. Do you think that I should get rid of it and run the avira instead?
I used to have Norton Internet Security on my desktop and it let trojans infect it
