Anyone try them?

Tried them today for the first time, wasn't horrible, easier than I thought it would be.

Using a smith machine, it's like a reverse benchpress but you are using your own bodyweight.

Here are a few pics.

From what I've read it's supposed to force you into much more of a strict form. Just wish you could easily add weight.

Let me know how that goes, I just am not sure I could do them with my belt.

I think the guys at my gym would kick me out for doing that.

lol, why's that?

The one guy at my gym who makes me look like a runt does them! :D

I must admit though his form sucks.

Dude is 6'6" minimum, weight I don't even know, gotta be 300+ More solid than me, makes me feel like a fng runt.

Benches 405 with reps, I know a lot of guys do but not at my gym. He does a lot of power type work though, lifts totally different than I do.

Did these today and they rocked!
Was my bicep day, do a light bi/back day on Saturdays.

Did 4 sets of standard inverted rows, something like 8,8,10,8
then I did 4 sets of reverse 'yates' grip inverted rows.
8,8, 10 pounds x 6 and 25 pounds x 5 or something similar can't remember exact amounts.

Placed the plates on my more than ample stomach :D

Gave a decent pinch in my back, nothing like weighted rows but not bad. Was great on the arms and forearms though!

I guess I should try them before I rule them out I am going to do a back bi day myself so what the hell I will give them a whirl

They don't give you near the pull like a weighted row, but I think working them in from time to time will be a good thing.

Anything is worth a shot ;)

I can set the smith bar high enough, and put a stool infront so that way I can use my dipping belt to hold the weight. The plates would fall off of me

Work on getting a more than ample stomach like me. They just kind of sink in and stick there!

I started doing inverted rows last week. I use the Smith Machine b/c there is no squat rack at my gym .. I do them without feet support like SR.
