Current diet

morning
1.5 cups of honey bunches of oats 220cals
1.5 scoops of whey protein 225 cals
1 cup milk 120 cals
1 cup orange juice 100 cals
total
655 cals

Mid morning meal
2 chicken breasts 200 cals
2 slices sour dough bread 220
1.5 cup or fruit juice (natural) 175 cals
total cals
595

in between ill have 1 cup fruit juice = 125 (sometimes 2)

Lunch
2 chicken breasts 200 cals
1.25 cups oatmeal 400
Naturally more penutbutter 2 tbs 140
1.5 cup sugar free syrup (oatmeal flavoring) 60cals
total cals
about 8oo

Afternoon meal
1.5 cups oats 450cals
1.5 scoops protein 200 cals
naturally more penutbutter 2tbs 140 cals
total about
790 cals

Dinner, 2 fish fillets 300 cals
usually about 3oo cals worth of some carb
totals to about
600 cals

Evening meal
1 cup of honey bunches of oats about 175 cals
1 scoop of whey protein 150
1 cup milk 110
1 banana 60 cals?
total about 495 cals

Befor bed meal
1 cup milk 110
1.5 scoops of whey proten 200

total 310

Total calories for the day =

say about 4370

Now if its a workout day I will have a post workout drink which would be
1 full scoop of gatoraid mix=300
2 scoops whey protein 300

total cals for shake = 600

so on my off days i eat roughly 4370 cals a day, and on my workout days i eat roughly 4970 cals a day:eek:

WHY ARENT I GROWING!!!

eat more! ive realized im needing to eat around 6k cals now to notice decent strength increases.

I cant afford to eat more unless i start eating dirty! any recommendations on some good places to shop? I already went to costco. but thats starting to get expensive especially when I eat clean food!

Breakfast

Oatmeal and banana, small cup of grapefruit juice

Post workout
Protein shake and burger on wheat bun

small cup of grapefruit juice

Dinner
2 small talipia fish, sweet potato, cottage cheese. small cup of grapefruit juice

Not sure on calorie content but this is what I've had so far. Damn pathetic now that I look at it. I gotta get my diet into check!

dude, break it up and add more meals!!!!! it will help your metabolism in ways you could never imagine!!

Yeah normally I do, today has just been off.

gotta get shopping, not much in the way of 'snack' type foods in the house. :eek:

Just had a yogurt ;) YUM

Will be having at least another 2 small snack meals tonight.

Dude if you want to grow you need more pastas and potatoes try adding in 3 cups of whole wheat pasta thru out the day and eat 3 or 4 medium size potatoes also throw in some ground beef your just maintaining with that clean diet don't go eating a large pizza and Mcdonalds

there you go!!thats what i do pizza at olive garden with a salid and a cherry coke.all that other stuff is crap,keep it to meat,chicken,and baked potatoes!!!!!!!i eat 4-5 chicken breast a day and also baked potatoes.

I personally try to stay away from baked potatoes, if/when I do eat them I eat them plain with possibly at most some hot sauce.

I always go for the sweet potato if possible.

do you work outside? construction or anything? Cause theres no telling how many carbs and cals i burn at work sweating like hell.

what about my lean up diet
6:30-1 cup oatmeal w/ fruit/ 4 srambled eggs (2whites) 1 scoop whey
9:30-1 chicken breast or 3 tenders(grilled) apple or bananna
12:30-2 cans tuna W/ wheat bread & orange
3:1 breast or 3 tenders
5:30-pre-workout 2 scoops protein
8:30-post 1 scoop whey dinner usually chicken or beef w/ vegs or taters!

heavy at dinner i know

not too shabby! I do maintenance full time, i am a personal trainer part time.
