here is my current,
sunday back rear traps
monday chest shoulders
tuesday abs
wednsday legs
thursday arms
I may go back to my old routine but with modifications
week start,
sunday legs( quads, glutes, abs)
monday chest (chest, triceps)
tuesday
wednsday Legs( hampstrings , calfs, lower back)
thursday upper back/ biceps
I may switch tris and bis with eachother, not sure where to add in shoulders...
OR
I can do
Sundays Upper body (chest upper back and shoulders)
monday legs
tuesday
wendsday upper body (chest upper back and shoulders)
thursday legs again
obviously I would cut my total sets per muscle group in half to compensate for the workload, i.e. instead of doing 20 sets per mucle group once a week only do half that but twice a week. Throw in 2 arm workouts one for tris, and one for bis, on upper body days.
tell me what you all think?

Is what I'd do by just slightly tweaking your workout :D
Better yet, throw another chest day in on Thursday, emphasize on the tri's
Friday hit your bi's and slight back :p

aweman I can feel my joints aching already from an extra chest day...
Or you could do what I used to do.
Incorporate just a slight amount of chest into a tri/bi day.
Such as supersetting close grip presses with ez curls. Then doing weighted dips with hammer curls.
:D
I loved those workouts!

Ok so heres what I decided, this way I can get 2 upper and to lower in a week..
Normally I do 116-20 sets per large muscle group and and about 8 per small group.
I am going to divide that number in half and try this.
Starts today so lets say
friday
upper Back (7 sets in the pullup formation multi grip) chest(8 sets flat or declined) shoulders (3 sets front and mid work) Biceps 4 sets
saturday-off (cardio)
Sunday
Legs/ Lower back 10 sets legs ( leg press, curls extentions) 4 sets lower back (deadlifts or any variation)
monday- off (swim)
tuesday
Upper back ( 8 sets any rowing motions or bent over motions) chest (7 sets in the inclined and flat movements) shoulders (3 sets on the rear delts ) 4 sets tris.
wednsday off
thursday
Legs/ abs Legs (10 sets, any squat motion lounges and curls) abs, w/e I do for abs...
fri off
sat maybe off as well not sure
what you all think?
How's this working out for you so far?

Well, it sucks, but it's just temporary-I hope. We made some drastic changes in our living arrangements, and we are adjusting to our new lifestyle. My regular gym is over 30 miles away now, and with gas at 4 bucks a gallon, we are having to make some sacrifices.
