This is one of Ronnie's curl routines. It works best if you stand sideways to a mirror and think of the curl motion in a semi arc. with the curl bar in the resting position, bring it up 1/3 of the way 7 times, next at the top of the arc, starting about nipple height to your throat, hit it 7 times. Then to end the routine or set, do 7 full curls. The excersize is a bicep burner and will increase size if routinely done. Try it, most guys at first cannot use their normal curl weight when first doing 21's

Been doing those for years, it's a good warmup but you're right, you can't do your full weight. Gives a good burn.

I love em...throw them in every few weeks or so as a shocker to wake up my stubborn arms. Best is to have a partner...do yours, hand off the bar, he does his and hands the bar back. Three sets of those and your arms will be like jello:cool:

My arms have been stuck at like 19-20" for awhile, I'm willing to try anything to get a bit more mass into them!

My arms have been stuck at like 19-20" for awhile, I'm willing to try anything to get a bit more mass into them! Two things ya need to do...1. do the 21's light weight first, get used to doing em, switch to heavy and less reps and then vice versa, keep switching it around. 2. do one of Agents high mg 20 weekers;):D

Tried these yesterday............serious burn for sure. Think ill start incorporating them in my bicep routine. Definately have to go down in weight though to have optimum control and isolation.

Definately have to go down in weight though to have optimum control and isolation.Keep at it for at least 3 months or until you can do it with your normal curl weight and I gaurantee you will have bigger more defined biceps. You wont get a burn like that with anyother bicep workout. Most people stop doing them cause its hard work, but hard work pays off in the GYM and most every other area in life:cool:

I still gotta try these. Wanted to on Saturday, the damn callous I had tear though made normal curls next to impossible.

Hope to do them in the next week or two.

yes,,BUT make sure your burning into failure2 reps before you hit the number, that will get the blood flowing into the muscle more effiecntly.and a hell of a pump.i did those today and it felt great.

I again did not get them in! Gym was closed Saturday, Sunday, Monday so on my shoulder day I worked in a very small amount of bicep movements.

Hope to try them soon!
