At another forum I part own we have an option called 'buy me a beer' or 'buy me a drink'
What this does is as follows:
Those who choose to opt into the service gets a little icon next to their username when they post. If someone likes the advice you gave them, or for whatever reason they choose they can buy you a drink, or in the case of here a protein shake or something.
So basically it's a donation system, but instead of being for the forums it would be for you the members. It's setup through paypal.
Does this sound like something you'd be interested in?
