Any of you do any weighted dips. I llove them for my triceps and chest. great strength builder i do closer grip and elbows in, so i dont strain my shoulders too muuch
Yep I do them. I think I'm the only guy at my gym who does them. Usually people look at me like I'm strange while doing them.

bump. Everyone thinks i am a strange strange human being for them.
I did them today, by the time I got to them though damn I didn't have much left. I was only able to hit 45 x 10 and 90 x 4, normally I'd get 90 x 8 or 10 and then get 135 for a few good reps '3-5' or so.
Today though I used the new bands the gym got for the 1/2 rack and just wrecked my tri's. I am a hurting right now! :D

haha i did tris today too. i did weighted dips and an inclined cable extension. WOW where they pumped!

id like to try them, usually dips are one of the last excersizes i do, so i can only do like 15 reps @ bodyweight

I know that feeling.
I do them when I've already done 10-12 different pressing exercises, burned out as fuxx. It's hit and miss this way, one day I'll still be able to pound them out, the next I can barely do body weight.
They are excellent for the tri's though. I do mine backwards, instead of facing the correct way according to the tri station, I do them facing the other way which appears to force me into more strict form and makes them that much harder.
