Finally Getting a 1/2 rack!

My gym finally is getting a 1/2 rack! It was supposed to come in yesterday, I hope I'm able to use it today!

I wont be shocked if there is a line for it. I am psyched, incline presses, declines, shrugs, so many things I can finally do or do better!

Shrugs got so hard dead lifting the weight off the ground at times, especially if it was my day after leg/lower back.

My gym sucks, but hopefully with this little peice of equipment it will be better!

Went in today and the 1/2 rack was there, but not all the parts! Pissed me off!

The parts still were no in today but I said fuck it! Used it for shrugs, reverse shrugs, military press and front shoulder rows.

Made it so much easier than dead lifting the weight, plus the plate changes took 1/2 the time. Got a better workout in less time, always a winning combination!

Well today they had it mostly put together. No bench! Was told it was coming with a bench, now it's not! It's got the track there for the bench, WTF.
No weights either, but finally the rest of it was there.

Got to do free weight incline and decline press for the first time in a long time. Felt Great!

The utility bench worked 'ok' for the inclines, the slant bench worked crappy but did it's job for declines. I could definitely tell I was hitting areas of my traps and chest I had not hit very well in a long time!

I want to build my own gym. I hat goin to the real gym and being around a bunch of jackasses.

just give me a power cage, a bench, an olympic barbell and im set

Yeah I had a nice setup at my old place, sold it real cheap to a guy for his kid when we moved.
2 olympic sets, curl set, preacher station, bench that did inclines, delines, standard, utility bench, tri bar, squat station, etc, etc.

Damn near better than the gym I go to!

heh. when i ever do get a better job, all the money i invest in a gym will go towards a home gym

Yeah the economy sucks ATM, my mutual funds keep taking a beating!

Gym picked up some bands for the 1/2 rack, gave them a go today.
