View Full Version : Taker my Bull Mastiff
Not brave enough to post pics of myself yet, so instead I'll post some of my puppy.
He's currently about 10 months old, almost 100 pounds. Purebreed full AKC Bull Mastiff.
He pulls me around and I weight 265, if it wasn't for his pinch collar he'd be impossible to control when/if he wants to pull you.
The pic is a few months old, more than likely when he was 6-7 months old.

That pics a bit old, I gotta get a new one. He's grown a lot since then, gotta tip the scales at least 100-105 pounds now.
Guess I let this one get by me initially. No wonder you hate dog crap grim. He probably could fill up a 5 gallon bucket every time !!!
Especially today, he's got the runs!
Projectile Bull Mastiff poop!
I felt so sorry for you that I thanked your post on accident. I hope hes in the yard bro. Id sure hate to clean that outta the carpet !!!

Ouch, yeah that's a bit pricey.
Our bullmastiff we paid $1,100.00 for and most think I'm nuts for spending that.

Not really bro i have a buddy that has a pointing lab that he paid 3 grand for. If i pay that much for a dog he better get me a beer from the frig and open it to. I pai 600 for my lab and the dumb dog is afraid of water. Can you beleive that a lab afriad of water

My dog loves water.
Oh my god took him by my uncles, a field there has a puddle but it's the size of a small pond and he has a blast!
He however is a baby and afraid of LOTS of things. Imagine a bullmastiff being afraid of a pug!
A pug went after him a few months ago and he was just like WTF is going on. Now that he's getting a bit older though he's not nearly as afraid of things as he once was.
No way to get him over his fear?

Hell so did i but hes about 100 lbs and very out of shape and old, he would have made it i am guessing but my wife kept yelling at me to help him.
my lab is 14 now but i remember the day i brought her home when she was 8 weeks old. i took her to the neighbors pond to see what she would do because she came from a great bloodline of numerous field trial champions. anyway that little fart walked up to the water and walked in till she couldnt reach the bottom and swam out to the middle of the lake. i was scared to death a big catfish was gonna eat her. i used to take her swimming all the time but she's gotten to old now. poor girl is starting to go downhill from old age. shes definately been a big part of the family and will be missed when she's gone.
That's one thing I am afraid of as well. I can't imagine Taker dying, I'll miss him more than I'd miss most humans
Plus his breed only lives to about 8 on average! :(

That's one big lab!
You should try loading him up in the back of a truck. Hes fat and lazy now used to rus us all day.

Nothing like dead dog weight! :p
I used to always pick up Taker and put him into the H3. We got him a ramp but sometimes we didn't want the ramp in the truck.
Thank god he jumps in now, it's a tall Fng vehicle but now he jumps into it like nothing.
Wish I could jump like that :o

That's not really a fear of the pug, it's actually a good reaction. He knows he's large enough to hurt a smaller dog and he hasn't learned yet how to interact with them.

When he was younger he never really is the aggressor with other dogs. Now that he's getting older though, he's still not aggressive but you can definitely tell he's getting more in tune with the beast that he is :p
Neighbors golden retriever snarled and growled at him once. Neighbor laughed about it 'dog had come onto our property' he laughed saying his dog always has to be the big dog or some shit. I sat there thinking 'you dumb ass you better hope your dog don't do that when Taker is full grown'
He was only like 8 months old then, maybe 1/2 of his adult weight. He comes on to the property now like that something tells me Taker aint going to look to kindly on it ;)
Son took some pics of Taker just now, I love when he wears a skull cap! :D

He's gorgeous! I usually hate when people dress their dogs, but you're right about the skull cap ;). I used to have the link to a site with just dogs wearing bee costumes - everything from Chihuahuas to Great Danes, all in bee costumes. It was great! I'll post it if I can find it again. I'd pay to see Taker dressed up as a bumblebee :D.
BTDT
lol yeah we don't dress him, but a hat once in awhile with his big goofy tongue sticking out is just too much to pass up! :p
